Our training courses are renowned for their quality and high proportion of “on-aircraft training”. All of our instructors have many years of experience and a thorough knowledge of their fields of expertise.

Pilatus Aircraft Ltd, headquartered in Switzerland operates a modern training centre. The classrooms are equipped with the latest in presentation technology. Specially developed training aids, like Computer Based Training (CBT), computer animated aircraft systems and graphics, cutaway models and many others are available to support the training courses. The classrooms are only a few yards away from the final aircraft production assembly line and from the allocated training aircraft. This allows very practical hands-on training to take place.

The personnel training is designed to enable entrance level through to qualified and experienced personnel to operate the aircraft safely on the ground and in the air. We provide training courses designed for pilots and technicians.

Whenever possible, training is conducted on the customer's own aircraft thereby ensuring all equipment and systems are presented during the training courses in the customer’s configuration. The training courses start with classroom teaching covering topics theoretically, followed by “on-aircraft training”.

For pilots, the “on-aircraft training” comprises flight conversion courses, which provide the basics needed for qualified and licensed pilots to obtain a type or class rating.

For the technicians, the “on-aircraft training” consists of practical maintenance work, including troubleshooting.
