Purchasing Coordinator

Pilatus is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in Broomfield, CO. As a Purchasing Coordinator you will schedule, order, and coordinate the delivery of parts, materials, and office supplies. You will also complete audits of purchase orders for delivery dates while maintaining contact with vendors to insure timely delivery. Additionally you will be corresponding with suppliers for quotations, following up on purchases, maintaining records, and processing any returned goods. What you do

  • Coordinates delivery of parts and materials according to the production schedule, customer orders, and vendor contracts
  • Processes approved purchase requests and issues purchase orders to suppliers in compliance with Rules of Authority and established procedures
  • Orders and restocks standard office supplies
  • Generates stock orders based on established min/max levels
  • Audits purchase orders for delivery dates and maintains contact with vendors to insure timely delivery
  • Resolves problems with suppliers regarding non-conformance issues for rejected items

What you bring

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to two years of related training and experience
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be able to prioritize the workload and produce high quality, detailed work on a consistent basis
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office software including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn and utilize aviation technical software; Quantum experience a plus
