What you do
- Define, gather and analyse competitive intelligence of related market fields, products and competitors to support technology strategic decision making
- Research of technologies new to Pilatus and detailed analysis of risks and opportunities including assessment of the technology readiness level aspects
- Monitor new technology trends with regard to potential implementation in new products and improvement of existing products
- As Project Leader and Test Engineer, define required analysis steps and testing campaigns to assess any new technology under scrutiny
- Document and report results of research activities within Company Wiki environment and Executive Level
What you bring
- M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering of an internationally recognised university
- Experience in structural analysis as well as mechanical systems in the aeronautical industry
- Experience in management of interdisciplinary projects and structural testing campaigns
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an aviation related engineering department
- Sound understanding of the state of the art technologies and manufacturing techniques in the aviation industry
- German and English language skills on level C1 or better
