What you do

• Coordinate PC-12 structural quality notifications, deviations, of metallic airframe parts and assemblies, and advice internal and external international production sites
• Prepare, check and approve dispositions for structural deviations including the substantiation by classical analysis and using the existing finite element models
• Prepare risk assessments for structural deviations, perform cause analysis and initiate corrective actions to prevent structural deviations
• Prepare and check technical memos, certification engineering reports, production instructions and acceptance criteria for process specifications and approve drawing and parts list changes related to above corrective actions
• Perform quality notification training for engineering
• Identify quality notification process optimization

What you bring

• Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with focus on aircraft structures, or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years working experience as structural engineer on primary & secondary structures
• Sound knowledge in classical stress analysis
• Familiarity with NASTRAN, FEMAP as well as safe life and damage tolerance analysis knowledge would be an advantage
• Flexible, innovative and able to work on tight deadlines and changing priorities
• English Level B2; German Level A2 would be an advantage
