What you do
- Be responsible for all aspects of E3, electromagnetic environment effects, i.e. HIRF, IEL, DEL and EMC, for new development projects as well as modifications activities for the existing PC-12 and PC-24 aircraft
- Provide E3 certification strategies, prepare and conduct certification testing, and write certification documents
- Review supplier system and component E3 test plans and reports
- Liaise with certification authorities, suppliers, and test houses
- Participate in the architecture definition of new electrical systems
- Possibility to participate in Eurocae WG-31 meetings to represent Pilatus interests
- Support electrical and mechanical systems teams during systems' validation and verification process
What you bring
- University Degree in electrical engineering
- 10 years of experience in the field of aircraft electrical systems, electromagnetic compatibility, direct/indirect effects of lightning, High Intensity Radiated Fields
- Proficient understanding of DO-160 Sections 20, 21, 22, and 23 and knowledge in other DO-160 sections will be considered an advantage during the recruitment process
- Sound understanding of aircraft electrical systems development and certification
- Hands-on mentality and problem solving attitude
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and ensure correct prioritization of tasks to meet schedule and cost targets
- Fluency in English, C1 or above and German will be an advantage
- Ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural team
