What you do
- Design and develop big data algorithms for predictive maintenance and fault detection for our aircraft
- Translate system operational envelopes into mathematical models
- Define failure modes and strategies to predict system degradation
- Develop interactive visualization dashboards and automated reports to be distributed
- Work in close collaboration with system engineers and engineering customer support
What you bring
- University degree with focus on data science or software engineering
- First work experience in the aerospace or transportation industry is a strong plus
- Proficiency in Python, R, C++ or Java
- Experience with time series data, Spark clusters and Linux is preferred
- Self-starter mentality with a solution-oriented mind-set and willingness to learn
- Solid knowledge of spoken and written English
