Operations Manager

What you do

• Overall responsibility for managing a safe and efficient operation of the PC-21 and PC-24 Qatar fleet
• Lead the Pilatus Qatar operations including the Maintenance, Airworthiness, Supply Support and Ground Based Training System teams
• Ensure high levels of aircraft availability and achieve the KPIs as per contractual agreements with the customer
• Manage the Pilatus Qatar operational processes and guidance documents and ensure they remain current, effective, and adhered to by the appropriate teams
• Ensure that the organisation remains customer focused, highly motivated to deliver the 'Pilatus Class' service
• Support the General Manager with compliance to contractual and customer requirements

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of qualification with a strong technical and logistics background
• A confident and professional manager with at least 15 years of experience in the aviation industry, preferably at OEM level with exposure to Government customers
• Experience in managing MRO operations, including personnel management, safety, finance/budget management and performance analysis
• A strong technical and logistical background.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation standards and practices (EASA/EMAR 145/Part M, EN9100)
• Have a strategic mindset, take responsibility with the ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve profitable results
• Fully fluent in English (spoken and written). German and/or Arabic language skills would also be an advantage.
