What you do
- Support the development/improvement of various mechanical systems and components.
- System integration of one or more of the following systems: Flight Controls, Brakes, Actuators, Environmental Control System (ECS), Vapor Cycle Cooling System (VCCS), Fuel System or Ice and Rain Protection Systems (IPS)
- Handle quality and production requests of technical nature and conduct investigations and drive solutions to technical problems
- Define and perform ground tests and define flight tests
- Create test reports and certification reports
What you bring
- Engineering degree in aeronautics or mechanical engineering with at least 5 years of experience within a development, integration & certification environment
- Knowledge of electrical interfaces (bonding, wiring, EMI, EMC, HIRF) is highly desired
- Specialist knowledge of various mechanical systems
- Knowledge of CS/FAR Part 23 and RTCA DO-160, -178, -254
- Experience with requirement development, tracking, and validation
- Excellent communication skills within a multinational working environment and good written and spoken English is essential and knowledge of German is an advantage
