What you do
- Support the Mechanical Systems Engineering Team in the continued development of innovative aircraft systems and component technologies.
- Take technical responsibility for a main system or sub-system such as Powered Secondary flight controls, Powerplant integration sub-systems, Landing Gear sub-systems, etc.
- Conduct system architecture and trade studies and possess knowledge of systems development processes (ARP4754A).
- Analyze systems through modeling and performance evaluation using ground and flight test data.
- Manage the technical aspects of vendor-provided components, verifying/complying with certification requirements to FAR/EASA-CS Part 23 regulations utilizing the DOORS tool, and producing Certification Engineering Reports for submission to EASA.
- Development of test rigs and rig test procedures
What you bring
- University Degree in aeronautical, mechanical or mechatronics engineering
- Minimum five (5) years experience in aerospace mechanical systems within a development, integration & certification environment.
- Knowledge of Mechanical Systems control skills are beneficial.
- Previous knowledge of aerospace airframe level systems integration and performance of mechanical systems. Examples would be, but not limited to Hydraulics, Powered
- Data analysis & reporting skills together with flexibility for multi tasking activities
- Good spoken and written English is a must, knowledge of German an advantage
