Your Tasks

• Project and Supplier Management in the field of cabin and cockpit seating systems, airbags and furniture equipment, within time schedule and costs
• Prepare certification strategies and liaise with the design team, suppliers and certification authorities to develop the product in compliance with marketing requirements and certification strategies
• Implementation of Changes to Type Design, in regards of Seats and Interior Projects
• Perform structural calculation and release Stress/Structural Engineering Reports in support of design changes and new projects in the field of aircraft interiors and seats as well as plan and coordinate certification test activities, including preparation/checking of Flammability reports
• Support to Marketing and Business units with project investigations, feasibility studies, and definition of product strategies
• Customer support tasks, including preparation of repair procedures, investigate and release NTO's, provide inputs to maintain or improve aircraft technical publications (AFM/AMM/IPC/SRM/SB)

With this you convince us

• Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, or higher/equivalent
• Knowledge of EASA and FAA Certification Requirements and certification process
• Background in design and analysis of aero structures
• Ability to communicate at all levels, from co-workers to management representatives with a remarked commitment and sense of responsibility to achieve the assigned goals
• Structured approach to problem solving and capability to think in depth at complete solutions
• Very good English language skills, writing and verbally, German as an advantage
