Purchasing Coordinator

What you do:

  • Coordinates the delivery of parts and materials according to the production schedule, customer orders, and vendor contracts
  • Processes approved purchase requests and issues purchase orders to suppliers in compliance with Rules of Authority and established procedures
  • Receives vendor order confirmations, updates status and delivery dates, and attaches documentation
  • Reviews open sales orders daily, processes requests, obtains drop ship paperwork if needed
  • Orders and restocks standard office supplies
  • Resolves problems with suppliers regarding non-conformance issues for rejected items
  • Assist with other duties or special projects as assigned by Purchasing Manager

What you bring:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to two years of related training and experience
  • Business aviation knowledge preferred
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office software including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn and utilize aviation technical software; Quantum experience a plus
