What you do
- Design, manage and implement the software components (CSCIs) for pilot training systems (e.g. flight simulators) using C++ and scripting languages for Windows and Linux platforms
- Liaise with project stakeholders on a technical level to ensure correct software requirement creation, traceability and testability
- Production of software tests, test procedures and documentation for the implemented software components
- Integrate hardware in the loop, including analog and digital I/O components using industrial and aviation buses (Ethernet TCP/UDP, CAN bus, MIL1553 etc.)
- Perform validation & verification activities in support to the V&V engineering team
- Liaising with internal project stakeholders on a technical level to ensure requirement traceability and testability
What you bring
- Experience in C++, Python software languages on Windows or Linux platforms as well as experience with software version control systems such as Git, SVN
- Experience developing in Agile/Scrum teams and solid understanding of software planning and estimation
- Knowledge of Boost libraries, OpenGL and 3D applications development provides an advantage
- Ability to prioritise tasks and actions and to maintain deadlines with minimal supervision
- Good communication and social skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English (minimum at level B2)
