What you do
- Design, develop and integrate electrical systems into our aircraft
- Participate in the architectural design, requirements definition, testing, validation, and certification of electrical power generation and distribution systems
- Manage external suppliers including but not limited to specification of technical requirements, supplier selection, design reviews, and component qualification testing
- Liaise with other aircraft systems and their interface to the electrical system
- Participate in the design, setup, and operation of a test bench that includes high and low voltage power generation and distribution components
- Perform trade studies for new technologies and advise to management on their suitability for new platforms
What you bring
- University Degree in electrical or aerospace engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft systems or electrical engineering
- Proven knowledge of EASA/FAA certification requirements, DO-160, DO-178, DO-254 and ARP4754
- Experience in electric machines, power electronics, high voltage systems, batteries and in electromagnetic environmental effects (EMC, HIRF, IEL and DEL) is considered an advantage
- Ability to grasp quickly relevant aspects in a dynamic and multicultural environment
- Self-starter, with the capability to think outside the box while remaining realistic and pragmatic
- Fluent in English with good communication skills. German would be an advantage
