Team Leader Aircraft Data & Analytics

What you do

• Provide leadership to a team of highly qualified big data analysts
• Be responsible for the development of algorithms for predictive maintenance, health monitoring and fault detection for our aircraft
• Definition and implementation of corresponding processes and procedures within the Design Organization
• Provide Senior Management reporting and briefings
• Coordinate and support cross unit activities with product management, logistics, customer support and IT
• Handle leadership administration tasks such as staff yearly reviews & objective setting, running team meetings and recruitment activities
• Provide department work hour estimations and budgetary planning

What you bring

• University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with focus on data science
• Experience in aerospace or transportation industry is an advantage
• Proficient in programming in Python, R, C++ or Java
• Experience with time series data, Spark clusters and Linux in the context of Big Data is preferred, knowledge of Machine Learning concepts is an advantage
• Both written and verbal fluency in the English language is necessary, German is considered an advantage
• Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and ensure correct prioritization of tasks to meet a set schedule
