Software Engineer Flight Test Services

Your place of work: Stans, Switzerland

Your Tasks

• Front and backend development of existing and new web-based services used within the Flight Test Department
• Update and further development of the custom software for automated data and video processing and data management
• Setup, administration and maintenance of virtual and physical servers
• Processing and archiving of data and videos recorded during ground and flight tests
• Setup of client computers and installation of software, liaison with the ICT department, support to administrative tasks

With this you convince us

• Higher level of education in Information Technology or an Engineering discipline
• Experience in software and web development including Linux server administration
• Experience using several of the following languages, tools and services: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, C++, Java, bash, SQL, Apache, MariaDB, ffmpeg or Git
• Good spoken and written German and English language skills
• Motivation to learn on one's own with the ability to provide and integrate solutions with a high level of autonomy
• Ability to understand the needs of users and to explain complex technical matters to them as well as translating this information into software requirements
