Lead Software Engineer for Ground Systems

Your Tasks

• Responsible of the software delivery of Pilatus products
• Conduct the technical activities required to design and document the software architecture (functional, logical and physical) of Pilatus products
• Define, derive and manage software requirements based on system requirements, market needs and available technology
• Define the software decomposition into lower level software components, define the software interfaces with hardware and third party applications
• Liaising with internal project stakeholders on a technical level to ensure requirement traceability and testability
• Ensure the project milestones are respected

With this you convince us

• At least five years of experience as a Software Engineer (C++, C, JavaScript) and at least three years of experience in leading projects and team members
• Experience with software version control systems such as Git and knowledge of automated test suites and CD/CI, e.g. Jenkins
• Knowledge in software engineering methodologies and standards, e.g. ISO/IEC 12207, and experience of issue tracking systems, e.g. Jira
• Willing to travel internationally
• Fluent in spoken and written English to at least level B2, C1 preferred
• Ability to prioritize tasks, good communication and solid understanding of software planning and estimation are required
