Pilatus is hiring an IT Systems Administrator to join our team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will perform a variety of system administration / support and network administration tasks. In addition, you will install, maintain, and monitor the operation of the LAN network. A successful person in this role will also troubleshoot, diagnosis, and repair/fix network servers, desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software applications. What you do
- Provides technical support to internal customers on hardware, network, and software issues via phone, e-mail, or in person (tier-II help desk)
- Installs, sets up, upgrades, builds, maintains, secures, monitors, and troubleshoots: Windows Servers, including Terminal Services, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint, Backup utilities, VMware, and other special application servers
- Assists in maintaining security and data protection: Protects Pilatus' intellectual assets by keeping information secure and confidential
- Network protection on servers and workstations: Installs and updates required protective software, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, and disk encryption
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications
- Evaluates and recommends new products to improve security, reliability, and performance of the environment
- Documents system architecture, policies, procedures, configurations, and guides
- Works with 3rd party managed service providers to accomplish critical tasks
What you bring
- 3 - 5 years of experience in on-premises IT administration and support
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications, including Windows clients, Windows Servers, and Office suites
- LAN knowledge and maintenance (Cisco and/or Aruba Network Hardware experience a plus)
- Experience with SharePoint workflows and forms preferred
- Microsoft Azure/M365 experience preferred
- Ability to conform to new procedures, policies, and technology
