Your Tasks
- Maintain general and sub-ledgers (e.g. accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, bank, inventory, work in progress etc.)
- Reconcile and control payroll journal entries, including various provisions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (in accordance with IFRS and SPANISH GAAP)
- Manage supplier master data, monitor liquidity and execute payment transactions
- Oversight of materials management, including calculations and maintenance of material master data
- Prepare tax/statistical declarations (e.g. VAT returns, EC-Sales list, Intrastat filings, SII reporting, corporate tax return, plastic tax returns, IAE filing etc.)
- Acting as a point of contact for the parent company and other stakeholders on all relevant accounting matters.
With this you convince us
- Completed higher education in Finance, Accounting and Controlling (e.g. bachelor's in business administration in Accounting and Controlling, or equivalent)
- At least 5–7 years of experience in accounting within an manufacturing company
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and Spanish GAAP. Understanding of VAT and other financial compliance regulations in Spain
- Knowledge of SAP S4HANA (FI/CO, SD and PP) is a plus. High affinity for ERP-supported processes
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work style with strong attention to detail
- Fluent English skills (C1 level) in both written and spoken communication are a must
