Bruno Cervia spearheaded the Research and Development Unit from 2009 until the end of 2025. In this role, he was responsible for the development and airworthiness of all Pilatus aircraft and headed a multi-disciplinary international team of around 400 specialists from all areas of aircraft development.

He was appointed Deputy CEO in 2018. As of February 2026, Bruno Cervia has been a member of the Board of Directors.

Bruno Cervia joined the company over 30 years ago as a graduate aerodynamicist. Prior to his appointment as VP Research & Development, he was responsible for development work on the PC-21 in his role as head of department.

Bruno Cervia is a Swiss citizen and lives in the canton of Nidwalden.
