Mechanical Systems Engineer (a)

Your Tasks

• Responsible for one or more mechanical systems on Pilatus Trainer A/C
• Design, development, qualification, and certification of mechanical components & systems to meet FAR/EASA-CS Part 23 regulations
• Technical reporting, in-service technical support, technical query answering, and investigations
• Technical liaison and vendor management with external suppliers of systems and equipment
• Aircraft ground testing and support to flight testing
• Aircraft production support
 

With this you convince us

• University Degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering with several years' experience in aerospace mechanical systems
• Expertise in one or more mechanical engineering disciplines, with knowledge of RTCA DO-160 & DO-254 standards
• Proficient in requirement development, tracking, and validation
• Excellent English skills, good knowledge of German is advantageous
• Highly organized person, responsible, able to multi-task and work under pressure, with proactive problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage complex engineering projects, provide technical leadership, and manage suppliers across a global supply chain
